Frank and Pauline of Gayzette Bengals, based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, welcome you to visit our web site. Here you will see our stunning home bred F1 bengal cats by Apollo of Gayzette ALC. Also you will see F1 bengal cats bred by Michael Pont in the early days of the bengal breeding programme in the UK.

The beautiful Bengal cat is a unique combination of its stunning ancestor the Asian Leopard Cat and the domestic cat. This combination of ALC/domestic was created in America by Jean Mill who bred and registered her cats under the prefix of Millwood. The Bengal cat has developed into a breed that produces various colours, brown, black and snow spotted and brown and snow marble and now the fabulous silver, all with the most stunning range of eye colouring.

The bengal cat is of average size and is extrememly atheltic, particularily in the early generations.  We have found the F1 bengal cat physically, extremely strong, easy to feed and keep and contrary to what many breeders assume,  live happily in the company of people, are not dangerous or shy. Very vigorous, healthy cats and with our bloodlines (Apollo of Gayzette ALC UK) crossed with the wonderful Llandar National Velvet females we have developed an early generation cat with a fantastic friendly temperament, with a pelt that feels like silk to the touch, with tremendous glittering.. All F1 females to date have been retained as breeding queens, bringing our total of F1 females to 11.
Go on put a little leopard in your life!
