Frank and I live on a farm in the north east of Scotland near to Aberdeen airport. We have a mixed stock farm of pedigree Limousin cattle, pedigree Texel sheep and hunter type horses. We have six stallions at stud, broodmares and their youngstock. Horse breeding has been in our family for over 200 years and we take pride in producing good sound horses that go onto competing in any discipline.

Frank started breeding pedigree Limousin cattle in 1972 and has since that date produced bulls for both pedigree and commercial herds. The Texel sheep have been bred since 1982 and again are for pedigree and commercial use.

Being fascinated by pedigree livestock, a few years ago we decided to go into dog breeding on a small scale producing pedigree chocolate Labrador Retrievers, Flat Coat Retrievers and Border Terriers. All our dogs are health screened and are kept to the highest standards. We are Kennel Club Accredited Breeders.

Early in 2004 we saw a web site belonging to Esmond Gay of Sarez Bengals, we discovered that Esmond was dispersing his cattery and that some of his best and rarest cats were on the market. We decided to start a new enterprise and thus started Gayzette Bengals. The name of Gayzette came from part of Esmonds name and part of his favourite F1 Bengal, the fantastic Nyali Leopardette.

Esmond has continued to be and still is our friend and to offer his expert advice when asked. Despite the opinion of a few breeders he set a fantastic standard and no one can deny that Esmond Gay bred some of the finest Bengals to date. Although some people believed that the publicity that surrounded Esmond and Sarez Bengals was bad, there is no doubt that it kept the Bengal breed to the forefront of the cat world. Many people who bought from Esmond at Sarez, have contacted us agree entirely with the above.

We will always be grateful to Esmond Gay for allowing us to take on his best breeding cats, all of which have done well for us.

Having being involved over the last few years with the 'wilder and more exotic species of cats' we are prepared to offer homes to any such exotics that people may have bought in haste and not fully realised the consequences of their actions. It appears that sometimes unwanted exotic cats are simply set free to fend for themselves and surely many of these die of starvation. Here at Gayzette we can offer a good, safe enviroment for such animals. We have the knowledge and experience to care for such animals. Over the past few years to have taken in and cared for several exotic species of cat, this we do entirely at our own expense. Dont hesitate to contact us if you are in a situation where you can no longer care for or cope with any exotic cat.
